Delete your Mindrush account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Mindrush account and the data associated with it. It applies to the Mindrush mobile game on iOS and Android, published by the Mindrush team. If you have any questions, contact us at mindrushgame@proton.me.

Option 1 — delete in the app (fastest)

Open Mindrush.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap the Settings (gear) icon.
Under Account, tap Delete account.
Confirm on the warning sheet. Your account and its data are permanently removed right away.

Option 2 — request deletion by email (signed-in accounts)

If you signed in with Apple or Google but can’t access the app, email mindrushgame@proton.me from the same email address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. To protect you, we act only on a request we can verify against the email address on the account — we will not delete an account based on a public username or handle alone. We confirm ownership and complete the deletion, typically within 30 days.

If you use Mindrush anonymously (you never signed in), no email or login is tied to your account, so it can only be deleted from the app on your own device (Option 1). This is deliberate: it also means no one else can request deletion of your account.

What gets deleted

Deletion is permanent and irreversible. We remove all data associated with your account, including:

Your progress — scores, streaks, levels, daily attempts, and your practice commitment.
Your league standing, duel history, and “insights”.
Your username / handle, profile, and public leaderboard presence.
Notification tokens, notification preferences, and your saved time zone.
Any support tickets, reports, blocks, and friendly-challenge invites you created.
If you signed in with Apple or Google: your linked identity, including the name, email address, and profile photo we received from that provider.

What is kept, and for how long

We keep no personal data in your profile after deletion.
Anonymized, aggregate analytics and crash diagnostics that are not tied to your identity (and cannot be used to re-identify you) may be retained as part of overall app statistics.
Residual copies in encrypted database backups are cycled out automatically within 90 days.

You do not need an account to play Mindrush — you can continue using the app anonymously, or delete the app at any time.
